Click
Antioch High School, 1900 Hobson Pike, Antioch, TN / This ballet exposes students to the art of dance in an abstract form. Students will learn to look at a non-story ballet for the quality of its movement, the feelings that are conveyed, and the use of music as it relates to the theme of the piece. The catchy jazz score is translated visually through the choreography of Artistic Director Paul Vasterling. Does Click refer to the snappy rhythms of the music or the subtle cliques of personalities represented? Maybe it’s both! There are no wrong answers, since this abstract ballet allows each audience member to experience their own personal connection to the underlying theme of school life set to infectious music. Time: 6:30 pm. Free admission. More info, contact Cathy Ratliff at 615-297-2966 ext 17.

Lewis Black
Buy Lewis Black Tickets Here!Ryman Auditorium, 116 5th Avenue North, Nashville TN / Lewis Black is one of the most prolific and popular performers working today. He executes a brilliant trifecta as stand-up comedian, actor and author. Black's live performances provide a cathartic release of anger and disillusionment for his audience. A passionate performer who is more pissed-off optimist than mean-spirited curmudgeon, he's perfected expressing what the rest of us can not say in polite company. In 2007 Black received a Grammy award for "Best Comedy Album" for "The Carnegie Hall Performance" stand-up CD released by COMEDY CENTRAL Records.
